  3.       THE PROGRADE SYSTEM will scale any or all assignments either UP or
  4.       DOWN.  Choose M at the ASSIGNMENT.GRADE entry area to get the
  5.       MODIFICATION MENU and choose scaling.  THE PROGRADE
  6.       SYSTEM provides two distinct methods of scaling.  The first ADDS
  7.       (subtracts) a certain percent of the total (say 5% or 10%) to each
  8.       student's grade for that particular assignment.  This procedure
  9.       benefits students with lower grades more than those with higher
  10.       grades.  The second method MULTIPLIES each student's grade by a
  11.       certain factor, to increase (decrease) that grade by say 5% or 10%.
  12.       With this method, all students are scaled an equal PER CENT of the
  13.       GRADE THEY ALREADY HAVE.  A student with a zero grade would gain
  14.       nothing.  Give careful consideration to which scaling procedure to
  15.       use.  An example follows.
